Static or front of house security has become routine, especially in public accessed buildings, and is often the first line of control and contact for anyone entering a premises.
Having the correct personnel in place is crucial and Datumsec uses strict criteria when selecting and placing personnel. In addition, all staff receive assignment specific training, are trained in conflict management as well as various other appropriate techniques on an ongoing basis.
Gatehouse Security
Datumsec gatehouse security teams are used when our Clients have a need to confirm the identity of visitors staff and vehicles entering a site, prior to entering the main building.
The personnel working in this role are selected and trained with a particular emphasis on multi-tasking and communication skills.
Datumsec staff are used to operating in high traffic areas where they have to deal with a wide range of people and issues.
Mobile Security Patrol
This service can be used as an alternative to static guarding in situations where a continuous security presence is not necessary.
Datumsec’s search and response units will make unscheduled security patrols on a Client’s premises (either business or residential) during the night and at a weekend.
The patrol team will ensure that the site is secure and a ‘key point’ management system can also be implemented to enable reporting on the times of the patrols and checks.
Car Park and Traffic Management
Datumsec provides this service to assist at events or on your company premises where co-ordination of entry, exit and parking of vehicles is needed.
Our staff are trained to manage and control access and egress in environments where traffic and parking signs may be unclear or where a large volume of vehicles and people will be on site at once.
Special Event and Exhibition Stewards
Datumsec stewards and door supervisor services have been designed for any event or exhibition. The teams will maintain a safe and secure environment during this time.
We will discuss with the Client any known or perceived threats they are aware of and provide advice on the type of security required. This includes emergency planning and contingency procedures.
Datumsec also attends pre-planning meetings with the Client to agree the services required and to ensure that the correct levels of personnel are used.
Key Holding and Intruder Alarm Activation Response
Our response units are trained to be deployed on receipt of an alarm call and will conduct a thorough search and patrol of the Client’s premises.
Datumsec can also provide an ‘accompany’ service for Clients who use their own key holders. Our team will go with the key holder to the premises to ensure their safety and minimise risk.
On occasions where a ‘false alarm’ has been identified our team will reset the alarm and secure the premises.
Where an intrusion has been identified, the team will secure the site for scenes of crime, notifying both the Client and the Police. Datumsec will remain on site until security has been fully reinstated.<back to Why choose Datumsec>
